trial on audible and this is my first book that I'm listening to through

audible and I have my pros and cons about like how I feel about audio books because I think when I read books I like to highlight things very often and when I'm listening to a book I feel like I don't get to be that interactive and engaged in the content.

And it's harder for me to like bookmark things in an audiobook

So today I wanted to share an exercise from the book. You are a badass by Jen Cinchero. The problem is because I forgot to bookmark that part

while I was listening through it, I couldn't find it. So today I'm just going to do

it by my own memory because I felt like it was really helpful for me.

So the exercise that really helped refresh my perspective on things is this.

In the book, she says, imagine you are an alien stepping into your body so like an

alien spirit or soul or brain whatever it, like you're an alien that is not from this world, but you just

had the opportunity to step into this body that you are in right now. What would you do and how would you feel? And so I

thought that was a really interesting way to look at it and I decided to sit down

and journal what I think I would feel if I really were an alien

that stepped into this body of Eileen Sue. And what I found is this is such a great exercise to really learn to be as present as possible.

Like really when you do this exercise, it completely erases the past because this alien stepped into your body
