Summary

In this episode you discover how to embrace change as an empowering force in your life. You're guided in a meditation using a mudra meditation technique to help you embrace opportunities that come with major changes in your life.

It's often said change is the only constant in life. But that doesn't make it any easier to deal with it. In this week's series you'll be guided using techniques to welcome change, rather than to resist it. In today's episode you're guided using a powerful affirmation to accept and embrace change taking place in your life, and in the world around you.

This is part 4 of a 7-Part Welcoming Change Meditations, Episodes 1396-1402.

As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.

Well in today's meditation, which is episode 769, you'll be guided in a meditation with the option to use a meditation technique called a

moodra.

1:38.0

Now don't be alarmed by that word moodra. If you're not familiar with what mudras are,

1:46.7

mudras are often referred to as yoga in your hands and the name means a gesture or some kind of a mark or seal. It's an

2:01.8

ancient Sanskrit word and they work in a similar way as doing Pranayama

2:09.4

which is a breathing technique when you do yoga and it stimulates specific areas of your

brain so when you hold your hands in a particular position when you do a mudra it corresponds with a region of your

brain so in today's meditation you'll be guided using a mudra to help you adapt to change in your life.
