Exceptionally grateful to be here. This is the counselling tutor podcast. Thank you for lending your ears to us for the next half an hour to 40 minutes.

We're going to reward you with a really great packed episode. Three topics we're going to be covering today in episode 128.

We're starting off speaking about applying

for placements. This is again another topic that comes up again and again. If you are qualified,

some of the advice that we will be sharing applies to applying for a job as well. So there might be

something there for you. And then we're going to check in with our good friends at CPCAB, the UK awarding body, and we're speaking about logging client hours. And here again, if you're on a placement as a student, you need to be logging those hours. But if you're qualified, you need to be logging your hours as well. If you're working towards accreditation and even past accreditation, you want to be logging those

hours. Can you kind of give us a bit of a taster for what we can expect with the check-in, Rory?

Yes, well, Heather is going to explain to us why it's important that we accurately put in the

amount of hours if you're a student to claim those hours against your qualification. So if you're,

if you're doing a level four course and you're in practice, you work with clients, then you

have to keep a log of your client's hours. And that's important because you're evidencing

that 100 hours face-to-face client contact. And we're also going to be talking about the jetted dnas that do

not attend and how we work with those with the log. Thank you very much. Looking forward to that one.

look like? The ins and outs of insurance.
