I'm Mary Meckley, and I'm so happy to have you here spending 10 to 15 minutes of your day meditating. I know it's not easy to stop

what you're doing in your busy day and sit down and give yourself an experience of stillness.

So I honor you for what you're doing for yourself. In this episode, you're going to be guided in a meditation using your third chakra to help

cultivate happiness.

If you're not sure what chakras are, don't worry.

Chakras are simply energy centers within your body that harbor your emotions.

There are seven chakras that represent seven different aspects of who you are. And if you think

about a rod running up and down the middle of your body, parallel to your spine. And you think of

seven points along that rod, starting at the top of your head and then going towards the

center of your eyes, your neck, your heart, your stomach, your reproductive areas, and the base of your spine.

That is where the chakras reside and where all the different emotions you experience

live within the different chakras. As we do this meditation together,
