Hello everybody. Welcome back to the Primal Potential Podcast, our second to last official episode,

full length episode of 2023, which is just hard to even wrap my brain around and I know I'm

not the only one who is feeling that way.

I figured it would be a good idea to wrap up the year with a really heavy

science episode.

I have been deep, deep, deep in the cellular biology rabbit hole in the last couple of months in part because I've

had my interest peaked by a few ideas and also in part I shared with you guys that there was a couple months there

where I thought I had vertigo. I didn't have vertigo. I was having weird dizziness.

So that was part of it that prompted me to go on this journey.

It has resolved and I think it's resolved in part due to some changes that I've made.

I'm going to talk about those more specifically soon.

So that was part of what led me deep into the biology and cellular health rabbit hole.

And then I think the last thing was just where I'm at and my thoughts around fertility. So I've talked

before about how I would really love to have another baby. I had my first in 2020, my second in 2021, my third and fourth in 2022,

and at the same time I'm not sure that I want it enough to do something like

IVF or any kind of fertility treatment and but I really do want another baby if

that's you know in God's plan for our family. And so that was the other factor that has

had me looking more deeply, not just at philosophies around nutrition, but really going nitty gritty to the inner cellular realm.

And it's fascinating, you guys. I know some of you might hear that and go, oh gosh, that sounds painfully dull and dreadful and boring. I don't think so. My hope is that I can share some of it with you today in a way that makes it very accessible

very clear because you know I think if you were to read a textbook on mitochondrial membranes or the electron transport chain.

Not only would it be hard to get through from a technical standpoint,

it would lack application.
