So, simplifying your life without adding anything additional to what you already have. In fact, in today's episode, I'd like you to consider

And your challenge for this week is a little unusual. You may think it is a little unusual and the challenge is for

you to consider what you could do to pursue voluntary hardship this week.

And what I mean by voluntary hardship is very similar to what the Stoics of ancient Greece and Italy followed in regard to simplicity. Now if you're not familiar with the Stoics,

Stoicism is considered a school of Hellenistic philosophy and

it was very popular throughout Rome and Greece until about the third century AD.

And Stoicism is considered to be a way where you simply become the best who you can be.

And that's the way that I like to share meditation with you is a way for you to reach and

tap into the best part of who you are.

And so the Stoics believed that the path to happiness for humans is found in

accepting what we've been given in life and not allowing ourselves to be controlled by our own desires or by our fears or by our pain and that if we could use our logic to

understand the world around us, then this would help us to become a better citizen of the

world as well as to become a happier person.
