So as you go throughout this week in a happiness challenge, the challenge is to focus on one area of your life where you could use a little more happiness.

So this might be in regard to a relationship or your job satisfaction.

Maybe you selected to focus on how you feel about how you look or your health in general.

Well in today's meditation technique for you to do as you sit down to meditate or as you go about your day, it's an affirmation and an affirmation is a positive statement you repeat to help you

uplift your thoughts and it's not something magical that you repeat and suddenly you are instantly

transported to better thoughts it's more that you focus on an intention. And as you repeat the

affirmation, you fully engage your mind and even your body with the power of your voice and

relaxing your body and even tensensing it as you repeat the affirmation.

And so the affirmation is an affirmation that helps you along with your challenge.

So I have another part of the challenge for you to do today with this particular affirmation. So this

week's affirmation for happiness is joy within, joy without. So when you're repeating the affirmation, joy within, visualize your within. Visualize yourself feeling joyful, excited and uplifted and happy about one aspect of your life. lifted and as you repeat the second part of the affirmation joy without focus and visualize joy or happiness in your environment.

And so this is going to help you not only to cultivate inner happiness, but to start to notice and recognize and send out happiness to the world
