We go immediately to a report from Europe by the Financial Times.

The headline reads,

EU Defense Summit.

Leaders hold emergency meeting on support for Ukraine.

Subhead, Europe's backing for Keefe faces resistance from Orbán of Hungary.

As Mr. Trump turns at U.S.-European relations on their head.

This is a mission to boost support for Keefe.

Ms. van der Leyen is attending, so are the other members of NATO.

However, it's in Brussels, not in Paris.

There is separately a conversation between Mr. McCrone and Mr. Starrmer in London

about a lending support for Ukraine at some point, and troops are not ruled out.

This all gets tangled up in recent decisions by the Trump administration,

one, to stop intelligence sharing, and two, to halt arm shipments, at least nominally, are halting arm shipments,

so there is the remark from Ukraine that they have enough to get to summer.

That's enough confusion.
