The Haunted Castle House, Part Two | Grave Talks CLASSIC

Steve and Judy Skinner wanted to buy a haunted house. They’d been lifelong skeptics, but after a paranormal experience in Eureka Springs, they wanted to know more about the paranormal. As a doctor, Steve wanted to study and experience the paranormal properly, so he needed a “lab.” A place of their own, where nothing could be manipulated. And in 2018, they found just what they were looking for in the small town of Brumley, Missouri…the Haunted Castle House. They soon realized they had purchased a very active home. In fact, it’s been called the “Most Haunted House in the Midwest.” Even on Realtor.com, the listing for the house said, “Buy it if you dare.” The house has seen lots of trauma, tragedy, and death…which could account for the apparitions, noises, knocks, voices, and all of the paranormal activity under its roof. Today on the Grave Talks, Part Two of our conversation about the Haunted Castle House with owner Dr. Steve Skinner. If you’d like to read more about the Haunted Castle House's history or get information on tours, paranormal investigations, or candlelight tours, visit their website at hauntedcastlehouse.com. Returning to The Cabin on 360, Part Two | Guests, Dennis Estlock and Ryan Jones

We recently did an episode about The Cabin on 360, a very active piece property in Mechanicsville, Virginia. This property has seen everything from Civil War Battles to a gruesome murder. There are not just one or two haunted locations but three: the cabin, the ranch house next door, and the woods themselves. After hearing some incredible stories in our last episode, I was wrapping it up when they said we hadn't even touched the stories from the cabin or the woods. That is exactly what we talk about in this episode. If you haven’t listened to our first two episodes, listen to those first and then come back to this conversation. On this episode of The Grave Talks, we’re Returning to the Cabin on 360 with Dennis Estlock and Ryan Jones. This is Part Two of our conversation. The Very Haunted Malvern Manor, Part Two | Grave Talks CLASSIC

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! In the late 1800s to early 1900s, Malvern Manor, in the tiny town of Malvern, Iowa, was a thriving, family-owned hotel. However, the railroad that kept It in business lost passengers due to the popularity of automobiles. It was then converted into a convalescent facility, with patients who suffered from everything from drug addiction to schizophrenia calling it home. The conditions were deplorable, and numerous horror stories circulated during Malvern Manor's existence. The allegations led to it being shut down. They locked the doors and walked away. Many believe that the building's paranormal activity stems from the neglect and mistreatment of patients. But it’s now open again, but not for the faint of heart. The Manor now sits empty. But is it really empty? Because for an empty building, there sure is a lot of activity there. Today on the Grave Talks, Part One of the Very Haunted Malvern Manor with owner Josh Heard. The Secrets of Goatman's Bridge, Part One | Guest, Becky Vickers

Nestled between the Texas towns of Denton and Copper Canyon is an unassuming old bridge steeped in demonic legend. "Goatman's Bridge" is a humble wooden structure with an eerie reputation. Goatman's Bridge isn't just a relic of the past; it's a hotbed of paranormal activity. Many believe the surrounding forest is haunted by an evil presence summoned by satanic rituals, with documented accounts of physical attacks. Legend has it that it is haunted by a half-goat, half-man creature with glowing red eyes and a menacing snarl. There is a legend suggesting that this demonic presence was summoned by the ghost of a Black goat farmer who the Ku Klux Klan brutally lynched at the bridge. Others believe that the bridge is haunted by malevolent spirits conjured by local occultists, who are said to have performed sacrificial rituals in the nearby woods. Today on The Grave Talks, a conversation with author Becky Vickers about her book, The Secrets of Goatman's Bridge: True Tales of Chilling Paranormal Encounters at One of the Most Haunted Bridges in America. What is Haunting the Horridge House? Part Two | Guest Katie Hopkins

In the small town of Vinton, Iowa, you’ll find the Horridge House, a two-story, red brick home built in 1859 by Dr. Hewitt Clingan. It was sold to George and Elizabeth Horridge a decade later, who left their mark on this storied residence. Visitors to the Horridge House today will be transported back in time with its period furnishings, clothing displays, and numerous artifacts. But there’s more to this house than meets the eye. Now housing the Benton County Historical Society’s Archives & Museum, the Horridge House is a repository of historical knowledge and artifacts and a potential hotspot for ghostly activity. The house is filled with peculiar and unexplainable occurrences, from shadowy figures to strange noises and suspicious footsteps. Many believe these hauntings are linked to the historical artifacts stored within its walls. Could it also be that the spirits of Mr. Horridge, along with both his first AND second wives, still reside in the home? Today on the Grave Talks, what is haunting the Horridge House? Many guests have reported seeing her; some report seeing someone stepping off the balcony and simply disappearing. Another spirit seems to like the stage area and even appeared to a crew member. She was so real that he actually spoke to her. Laura also feels a deep, personal connection to Leone Jenson, who tragically leaped from the roof of the San Carlos Hotel just weeks after it opened. The Ghost Studies, Part Two | Guest Brandon Massullo

For centuries, scientists, skeptics, and believers alike have been intrigued by questions like "What causes ghostly experiences?" "Are ghosts real?" and "Why do certain people report numerous ghostly encounters while others experience none?" It includes research on the role of energy and electricity in hauntings and examines how emotions, bioenergetics, and the environment contribute to supernatural phenomena. The Haunted History of Graestone Manor, Part Two | Guest Heather Rease Mattison

The Graestone Manor Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully preserved Victorian mansion along the Erie Canal in Royalton, New York. Nestled in the quiet town of Gasport, this manor is a gem on the Niagara Wine Trail. Silas Newcomb, settled the property in 1833, planting apple and pear trees that still bear fruit today. Over the decades, the estate changed hands—from Silas’s son Albert to neighbors Horace and Harriet Chapin and then to Curtis Root in 1865. Root, a racehorse enthusiast, left a lasting legacy with his racetrack and the famed racehorse Hamiltonian. But beneath its historical facade, Graestone Manor harbors a world of the supernatural. Visitors have reported the sound of heated arguments, the echo of ghostly horse hooves, and the chilling sight of a woman's apparition at the window. Whispers of a mysterious vortex in the basement and shadowy figures wandering the halls add to the eerie atmosphere. And what is it like to be a psychic medium living in this historic manor? And why are the former owners’ spirits excited about Heather and her husband's living in the home. This is Part Two of our conversation. Haunted Old Lavaca County Jail, Part Two | Grave Talks CLASSIC

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! What do you think of when you think of an "abandoned jail"? Butterflies and daisies? Of course not; very likely, your mind conjures up images of dark and decrepit cells, rusting away in the stale, vacant air that time forgot. Possibly even unexplained sounds echoing down the lines of barred walls from the resident spirits that still take refuge behind the strong cinderblock walls. If that's what you're thinking of, you may be thinking of the Haunted Old Lavaca County Jail. A jail that no longer holds the living. It now houses the souls of those who have long since passed but have difficulty getting beyond the walls. This is the story of that jail, as told to us by Lisa Franks and Debra Fawcett. The Cabin on 360, Part Two | Guests Dennis Estlock and Ryan Jones

The Cabin on 360, in Mechanicsville, Virginia, is not just any ordinary haunt. It is a silent witness to three brutal Civil War battles, its grounds echoing with the restless spirits of fallen soldiers. But the eerie happenings don't stop there. The neighboring ranch home, the site of a gruesome murder between half-siblings, raises unsettling questions. Did something within the walls of the home drive this brutal act? And does its dark influence continue to affect those who dare to enter? As we uncover the spine-chilling stories tied to this location, we'll explore the sinister energy believed to be fueling a dark and oppressive entity on the property. This presence has reportedly driven even seasoned paranormal investigators to flee in terror. On Location: The Historic Wolf Hotel, Part Two | Guest Amanda Coots

Beneath the charming streets of Ellinwood, Kansas, lies an abandoned underground city. Once bustling with businesses like brothels, bars, gambling establishments, barber shops, and even a harness store, this late 1800s city was connected by a network of well-built tunnels, many of which you can still explore today. And my sister Cathy and I did just that. We toured the tunnels and the Historic Wolf Hotel, a beautiful and storied building atop the tunnels. While the hotel is a treasure trove of history, it's also a hotspot for the paranormal. Urban legends speak of spirits wandering the tunnels, including the ghost of a man who tragically took his own life in the hotel dining room in 1927. Though much of this underground world remains hidden from the public, the open sections offer a unique and slightly eerie glimpse into Ellinwood’s intriguing past. My sister and I love history and the paranormal, so our day trip to Ellinwood was fun, informative, and a little creepy. This is Part Two of our conversation. Today, on the Grave Talks, the historic Wolf Hotel and what’s below it, with Amanda Coots, paranormal investigator and historian at the Wolf Hotel.
