On April 13th, 2011, twenty-year-old Holly Bobo, a nursing student at the University of Tennessee at Martin, was abducted from her Darden, Tennessee home. She woke up early that morning to study for an 8 AM exam. Her parents were at work, but her brother was home and saw her outside with a man he thought was her boyfriend. Then a man came forward to say he knew what had happened to Holly and implicated others. On August 12th, 1967, Buford and Pauline Pusser were ambushed while driving, and Pauline was fatally shot. Buford was shot in the jaw. Buford Pusser was the Sheriff of McNairy County in Tennessee and built a name for himself as tough on crime. He made many enemies, and it was thought that one of these enemies had shot him and killed his wife. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the murder of Pauline Pusser. Buford became a hero figure and vowed to find his wife's killer. The movie, Walking Tall, made Buford a larger-than-life character after it was released in 1973. On New Year's Eve, 2020, Morgan Metzer was at her best friend's house, where she had been planning to celebrate the new year. She was feeling tired and decided to call it an early night. She drove home in Cherokee County, Georgia, got into bed, and quickly fell asleep. In the middle of the night, when she opened her eyes, she saw the shadow of a man standing in her bedroom doorway. All Morgan could think about was her children and living to see them again. On October 31st, 1974, the O’Bryan family set out for Halloween in Deer Park, just outside of Houston, Texas. Despite the rain, Ronald Clark O’Bryan and neighbor Jim Bates took their kids, four in total, out to trick or treating. But this Halloween turned out to be fatal for one of the O'Bryan children. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss The Candy Man. Timothy O'Bryan ate a Pixy Stix that night, became extremely ill, and died. This caused a massive panic throughout the area. The police weren't sure who was giving out laced candy and how much was out there. On December 12th, 1985, 21-year-old Diana Robertson and her boyfriend 36-year-old Mike Riemer of Puyallup, WA took their two-year-old daughter, Crystal, up to a forested area in the mountains near Tacoma. Crystal was found at a Kmart 30 miles away, and the mystery of what happened to Diana and Mike began. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Diana Robertson and Mike Riemer. Diana's body was found months later but that only intensified the mystery. A tube sock was found wrapped around her neck. Mike's remains were found 25 years later, but the discovery answered few questions.

On May 30th, 2025, thirty-two-year-old Travis Decker went to his ex-wife Whitney Decker’s home to pick up his 3 daughters, all under the age of ten, for a visit. A few days later all three girls were found murdered and Travis was nowhere to be found. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Travis Decker. After the murders were discovered, the authorities didn't know for sure whether Travis was the perpetrator or a victim himself. But that picture soon became clear after DNA results came back. In May 2016, thirty-one-year-old mother of three, Nicole VanderHeyden, was found dead. It was apparent she had been murdered due to the state of her injuries. Nicole, who went by Nikki, disappeared after a night out with her boyfriend and other friends. The authorities immediately began looking at Nikki's boyfriend. The Fitbit he was wearing told the story of his whereabouts the night Nikki was murdered. Major breaking news here as serial killer Robert Eugene Brashers has been identified as being responsible for the infamous quadruple Yogurt Shop murder in December, 1991 in Austin, TX.  Killed were Jennifer Harbison, and Eliza Thomas who were employees of the 'I Can't Believe it's Yogurt' shop in Austin, along with Jennifer's sister Sarah Harbison, and her friend Amy Ayers who were in the shop in order to get a ride home with Jennifer after closing. All four girls were shot in the head execution style and at least one of them was raped. After they were killed, the shop was set on fire to cover up the crime and destroy evidence.  Robert Eugene Brashers was a known rapist and serial killer who roamed from state to state. Among many twisted crimes, We know Brashers was responsible for the murders of Genevieve "Jenny" Zitricki in Greenville, SC in 1990, as well as that  of mother and daughter  Sherri and Megan Scherer in Portageville, Missouri in 1998. Kathryn decided to take the kids to her mom Tracey Grist’s home in American Fork, Utah. She took the kids there without asking her husband, and that caused further friction. On December 2nd, 2019, Christine didn't show up to her job and co-workers and her family asked for a welfare check. When officers arrived at the scene, there were no bags in front of the house and no body parts to be found. The next morning, a man found a torso in the dumpster, which ignited an exhaustive investigation. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Sam Haskell. The son of a Hollywood mogul, Sam was 35 years old and married with children in 2023. As the investigation unfolded, the authorities released that Sam's wife, Mei Li, and his in-laws, Yanxiang Wang and Gaoshen Li, were missing. In the early morning hours of Sat August 20th, 2016, Twenty-seven-year-old Derrick Dearman, entered the home where his twenty-four-year-old estranged girlfriend, Laneta Lester, was staying. It was Laneta's brother's home, situated approximately 30 miles outside Mobile, Alabama. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the Citronelle murders. Laneta had fled from Derrick because he was abusive. Her family turned Derrick away from the home when he showed up earlier. From 1968 to 1989 there were a large number of murders in what is known as the Connecticut River Valley. But with the long period of time and bodies found in multiple states, it's hard to know how many of these murders are connected. In 1997, an individual terrorized the area around Nashville, Tennessee. This person robbed several fast-food restaurants, killing workers in the process. A man named Paul Dennis Reed Jr. was ultimately identified as "the fast-food killer" and took seven lives before he was caught. He also had a series of head injuries. Twenty-three-year-old Steven Freeman had been shot, and Mary Katherine Higdon, who lived in the house with Steven, admitted that she was the one who shot him. On April 23rd, 2018, officers responded to a call about human remains found in Eastport, Florida. They found the body of a woman who had been a victim of foul play; she had obviously been beaten before her murder, and it was a brutal one. She was later identified as Aileen Seiden. Early the next day, investigators were alerted to a suspicious scene at the Sportsman's Lodge Motel about six miles away from where the Jane Doe had been found. They had to figure out who killed her. In 2022, Nicki Lenway was thirty-three years old and working as a crime scene investigator with the Minneapolis Police Department. She had a five-year-old son named Callahan with her ex-boyfriend, Tim Amacher. On April 20th, 2022, Nicki was shot multiple times while she was waiting in her car outside of a scheduled visitation between Tim and her son. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the case of Nicki Lenway. One of the gunshots hit Nicki in the neck and, even though she had a cell phone to call 911, she was unable to speak at all. Luckily, a stranger came to her aid. The issues between Nicki and Tim caused Tim to be a suspect from the beginning. There was one problem, though: he was inside visiting with his son when Nicky was shot. This gave him an airtight alibi. On October 4th, 1978, in Iowa, a woman was found face down in a deep ditch about twenty feet from the road. No identification was found with her body, and being in an advanced state of decay, police had no way to determine who she was. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Wilma June Nissen.
