It's been by modern standards, a rather stable week in politics. The Chancellor delivered

the budget on Monday with a few small surprises. He announced an income tax cut to come in

a year earlier than planned, plus some more money for universal credit, defence and schools.

But we already knew the big ticket item, an £80 billion investment for the NHS.

The budget landed generally quite well and it passed without the rebellions or controversy

that ministers may have feared a few weeks ago. One of the most memorable moments of the week,
