We march remember on Sunday by speaking to two people closely involved in military matters,

the Conservative MP and former army officer Tom Tuganut

and Labour's Shadow Defence Secretary, Neil Griffith.

This weekend marks the centenary of the end of the First World War,

a conflict that took the lives of 17 million people.

The occasion is being marked around the world, including by leaders.

Theresa May laid a wreath at the seventh half this morning,

alongside the German president,

while Presidents Macron, Trump and Putin

and the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel,

attended a ceremony at the Art de Triumph in Paris. It's a somber reminder that really puts into perspective

all those arguments we have about Brexit, backstrops and parliamentary procedure. For former service personnel,

these events will have a very special resonance and one such person is Tom Tom Tuggenhat, the chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee.

Before becoming a Conservative MP three years ago, Mr Tuganhat was a military man.

He served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
