Well, something that I'm intrigued about, then I think is so accessible about your work is that

you talk about how sex feels like this thing in relationships where you start off and you're

like so into each other. And then you get

to this point in a relationship. It seems like a lot of people have. I know you've talked about,

you felt this way. I've felt this way in relationships. Or suddenly it just feels like a chore.

And there's this disconnection between your sexual self and engaging in sex and sexual experiences with your partner.

So I would love if you could just start by speaking a little bit to this almost phenomenon

that so many of us experience in relationships.

Yeah, I think we don't realize that we hit a point where the energy stops being this circle which can't sustain, and then you're kind of left

just kind of facing yourself and each other, and you're like, where did it go?

And I think what we don't understand, and we haven't learned, is that we need to be responsible

for our own sexual desire and our own connection

to sexual energy. And instead, we've kind of pinned that on other people our whole lives.

So we go about our lives thinking it's someone else's job to kind of light us up or

that person really turns me on. And we don't realize that actually it's our responsibility
