that you have submitted, and this is part two of a question I received on counseling.

Is professional therapy a biblically appropriate option for the Christian?

In my last podcast, I answered that question from a principled perspective,

and the answer was yes. Counseling absolutely fits well within the Christian worldview,

and you can go back and listen to that episode for my explanation. But I did end that explanation with a qualifier. Just because professional

counseling is not, by definition, antithetical to the Christian faith, does not mean that

the counseling you may receive aligns with the Christian faith. There are, In our therapeutic culture of ours,

there are a lot of counselors.

Counseling has become an incredibly lucrative market.

There's a lot of counselors out there.

And not all of those counselors

and their philosophy and strategies, not all of them, we would say,
