Hello my darlings. Margot and Carlos is a journalist, public speaker, and your favorite

auntie. I've loved this woman for many years, so I'm so excited to get around the

podcast. We talk about her recent cover stories with

Cardi B and Mary Drape Lodge, how she became a writer, what it was like working for

Vogue, and the importance of just saying fuck it. there have been a few people who just become

like shining stars during these tough couple months and you definitely are one of them

let's talk about that.

How you have some of the best stories of your cover stories,

major people launched a show.

Yeah. That was a lot. It's a lot. I appreciate you saying that. I definitely feel like a waste. I feel like everybody else. I just really you know tired and consumed with anxiety and

fears but like I don't know I just I have a lot of friends who are my your own way and so that was like a lot of that impulse and then I just think I don't know like everything was just wrong and I just reacted in kind like I just said fuck it

basically I just let's see what happens that's what that's when the moment when you're just like okay I'm just gonna do it.

I think like you know what's so funny someone a close family friend of ours at our

rehearsal dinner said this couple just one day looked at each

other and said fuck it we're gonna do this. It's just like a crazy thing in weird but but it's a common reminder in my life in these moments where I've heard people say, oh,

fuck it, and it's really, because there's nothing else in your way but you.
