Okay, today we are diving in to Proverbs chapter 18 verse 24, we're wrapping up chapter

18 today and I want to reveal to you who your closest companion is.

Now, of course, if you're a follower of Jesus Christ, you know it's Jesus and you know

that's the Sunday school answer and it's also the right answer.

But today we're going to see it nuanced and described for us in a little bit different

way in Proverbs 18, 24.

Solomon writes, a man of many companions may come to ruin.

But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Of course, when Solomon is talking about this brotherly sort of a relationship, he has

in mind an ideal relationship.

What a relationship between siblings should be like.

And that is one of the closest bonds.
