| 0:00.0 | Hello my friends and welcome back it is time for the morning mindset. If you are new to |
| 0:08.1 | the morning mindset, welcome. I'm so glad that you're here. It's time for you and I to |
| 0:13.0 | get our minds aligned with the truth of God's Word. That's what we do every episode of |
| 0:19.2 | the morning mindset. So welcome. Today we'll be looking at Proverbs chapter 19 verses |
| 0:25.2 | 1 and verse 22. But before we get there, I just want to remind you I love to hear from |
| 0:30.5 | you. If you would reach out to me and tell me your story whether it relates to the morning |
| 0:35.7 | mindset or not, I would love to hear it and I would love to pray for you. You can reach |
| 0:40.0 | out to me, carry C-A-R-E-Y at carry green. Just like the color dot com. Alright, let's dive |
| 0:48.4 | in to Proverbs chapter 19. Verse number 1 says, better is a poor person who walks in his |

| 1:18.1 | poor. But they contrast that idea with some things that we think of positively. See, because we |
| 1:26.0 | tend to think of poverty in a negative sense that it's a bad thing when a person is poor, |
| 1:30.0 | or it's a detrimental thing to their life. But the point that Solomon is making in this |
| 1:36.7 | passage is that even someone who experiences that negative thing of poverty is able to have |
| 1:44.7 | some rich things exist in their lives. And it's actually a better thing for them to have those |
| 1:52.1 | rich things than some of the alternatives. So let's look more closely at these verses. Verse |
| 1:57.6 | 1 says, better is a poor person who walks in his integrity. So stop and make sure you understand |
| 2:04.4 | what that means. This person is poor. They don't have enough resources, perhaps. But they are a |
| 2:11.4 | person of integrity. And they are sure to live according to their integrity. So they're honest, |
| 2:17.0 | they're truthful. They don't steal, you know, they have good character. And it's saying that is a |
