Summary

Should you concede to another person's flaws to maintain peace? We all seek approval at times, but in some relationships, this quest can take on a different hue, especially when one’s own insecurities are creating difficult and sometimes toxic conversations. Getting through some conversations without one or both people getting upset might take some clever communicating. That's what I'm talking about today.

And today I'm going to address a question that came up in the Facebook group that I run, the

and it's a person who wrote that they don't know how to handle a situation

and they said their husband wanted to do a project

and update something in the house. This person wrote, I support this project, but I

expressed to him that I would also like some input on the outcome such as the paint color.

However, when my ideas don't align with his, he gets mad and

he doesn't want to do the project. Neither of us feels like we can move forward.
