Mark welcome to the program. Hello Dr. Schlesinger can you hear me clearly enough? Yes, Mark perfectly wonderful. I am calling today to thank you.

I have called once before and I was wrestling with the idea of getting to heaven and reconciling the lifestyle that I was living earlier this week in fact right at the beginning of it.

A lot came into perspective and your advice provided a lot of momentum for that shaping and that shift in perspective because of your advice I now recognize the difference between playing house and holy matrimony.

Good and I am so thankful as painful as it was to say goodbye to this gentleman for whom I deeply cared for over a year and I know that I broke his heart.

It was painful but I am beginning to see no other ways of thinking and a lot of that is thanks to your advice and I again I'm from the bottom of my heart I just want to thank you.

Well thank you and you know there was a huge response to your call got lots of mail on it and people were very supportive of you.

I do believe you need to know that because I think you imagine there's mostly pushback but I didn't get one hostile one negative it was all in support of you.

And that's the response I have received from my circle of friends especially from my family I mean the relationship I share with my siblings and my parents now has already deepened by by amounts that words just cannot completely capture.

And I was so scared I was so terrified for this change and I knew the pain that it was going to be causing and I will be carrying that regret for a while if not for the rest of my life and that's a pain that I didn't think I was capable of fomenting.

I think at some point you're going to forgive yourself and you're not going to be tortured with this for the rest of your life.
