I want to share with you today a story that I heard from Joel Ostein actually. I do enjoy his podcast. I love his story telling and this is an older sermon that he gave but I was like oh I want to share this story on

I think that maybe you'll connect with this in an extra way somehow because it just feels so true. So what was the story? Joel was speaking about his

son returning home from college during some form of break,

right, to some type of school holiday break.

And he said, you know, as soon as his son comes home,

he throws down his bag, he opens the fridge, he kicks back on the sofa, puts up his feet, asks

his mom, you know, do you have my favorite snacks?

He goes home and he acts comfortable.

He goes home, he helps himself.

Everything is available, nothing is off limits, because it's his home.

And then Joel said, you know, it would feel so weird and it would be so strange and sad if, you know, son came home he was like hey you know dad is it okay if I have a

drink is it okay if I put on the TV is it okay if I put my bag here he's's like that would be the strangest thing ever, right?

Because he's in his house. This is his home. It belongs to him too. And as I'm listening to this story I'm like, oh I think I know where he's going with this.

source, whatever it is, right? I always like to think about it just as our

Creator. But our Creator created this Earth for us. It's our home. So why would we go, oh, is it okay if I do this? Wait,
