0:24.6

It is Wednesday, May 27th, starting just before noon as we normally do.

0:29.9

Before we get started on what we're going to talk about today, you know, I was at a college reunion last weekend.

0:36.2

And, you know, as happens at these things, people come up to me and they ask me about politics and stuff like that. But I had a number of people come up to me and they said, a lot of them said in one way or another, you know, you and Kate have sort of brought me around on court reform. But the interesting thing,

1:55.1

we're going to come back to the situation up on Capitol Hill, where things like the end of John Cornyn's career, the slush fund, and all

2:06.1

these other things are, you know, they're pushing things to the breaking point, even with the

2:12.9

normally highly compliant Republican majorities on Capitol Hill.

2:20.0

So, Kate, let's get started.

2:23.1

What can we say about Ken Paxton and John Cornyn?

2:27.5

Embarrassing way for Cornyn to go out, you know.

2:30.5

It's rough.

2:31.6
