Hi, this is Josh Marshall, and this is the TPM show with Josh and Kate.

We are coming off elections that were in something like half dozen states last night.

And a lot of primaries where a lot of Trump enemies were up for elections.

So we are going to talk about that, the results of

last night's elections today. We're also going to talk about this situation in Georgia, which is a

subset of that, but has some kind of extra details. Also, the big slush fund, the new insurrectionist

slush fund that Donald Trump has set up, that you've

certainly heard about, talk about that. And finally, Jared Polis out there in Colorado,

who commuted the sentence of one of the big election deniers. So we have a lot to talk about.

Kate, let's jump right in. What happened last night? Give us the headlines.

What came out of the primary elections last night and half dozen states. Yeah. So, I mean, as a former

political playbook author, kind of rapturously tweeted, you know, big successes for Trump's political

operation. So last night we saw more Republicans

who had shown any amount of resistance to him felled in their primaries, the big one, Thomas Massey,

who is in like, it's kind of comical because he is in a district that went for Trump by like 35

points and yet it was the most expensive house primary of all time at like $33 million

because Trump and APEC and co spent so heavily to dislodge him.

But he ends up losing by about 10 points. Ravensberger, who we know

as the former Secretary of State, who declined to quote unquote find votes for Trump in Georgia

and overturned the election there. And his lieutenant both wiped out. And of course, this is coming

a few days after Bill Cassidy came in a humiliating third in his Republican primary.

So, you know, Trump is probably feeling pretty high on his own supply at this moment.
