Hello and welcome to Under the Skin from Lumeri this week I spoke to Janis Verifarkis.

Janis Verifarkis is a Greek economist, academic philosopher and politician, a former member of

Siritsa who served as Minister of Finance from January to July in 2015. He's the co-founder of the

International Grassroots Movement, the M25 and in 2019 he won an election as

one of its representatives in the Greek Parliament. He's currently professor of

economics at the University of Athens

and his new book Another Now! Dispatches from an alternative present is released this month.

institutional power who has sat down with administrators at the EU who knows what it's like

to campaign to win an election, you know, in a sort of in Greece and actual

country.
