And my specific fear about the EU is that they start misinterpreting the whole thing immediately

and that they consider the rejection of Trumpism as a reinforcement of

transatlantic relations, of the old way of transatlantic relation, that they see the defeat

of Trump as a victory of centrist politics and that we can return to the multilateralism
