a lot of young black men that had real issue looking other people in the eye.

Really? Right? And you think about where that comes from. You think about back in slavery

time where, you know, black men, you couldn't look, you know, your oppressor, so to speak,

And so even though that was something that was done back then

as a form of protection to keep you well,

to keep you from being hurt and victimized by these individuals,

it carries on, you know, until someone breaks that cycle. When we talk about cycles,

that's what it's all about. It's not generational curses. It's generational learning. Yeah.

But the beautiful thing is anything learned can be unlearned. And so when I talk about challenge what you

know, it's about the unlearning. What are some things you feel like we need to unlearn?

Oh my God. As a community, what's like the number one, or maybe three things, if you have three

things, that you think as a culture or community that we definitely need to spend some time on learning.

Well, I think, you know, keeping in the context of what your platform is, I'll start with

even black men, that, you know, you have to just swallow your emotions. That men don't cry.

Men don't show weakness.

All of those things is so detrimental to us, not just the individual, but us as a community.

It's detrimental to families.

It's detrimental to relationships.

I do a lot of couples counseling. And when you put a man and a woman together, we're going to talk about the traditional right now, right? Because we know, you know, there are others, but I'm going to talk about the traditional. You put a man and woman together. And this woman has, from a very young age age been encouraged and talk to recognize and acknowledge her emotions, how she feels, right? So she's built all these beautiful pathways in her

brain. So when something bothers her or when she needs to figure something out or solve a problem,

she can go and tap into that emotional system, you know, a part of a brain.
