It's actually been a month since our last episode.

We took a break over Easter and there has been a lot of environmental news in the past few weeks.

Very difficult to fit into 20 minutes, but we'll do our best to pick out the most interesting points of the various stories that have been going on.

Yeah, there will be a lot to cover, but in this episode we're going to talk about, of course, the Extinction Rebellion protests in London.

with protecting and restoring our natural environments. And we're going to take a look at what MPs have

the healing power of nature. So on that first topic, Extinction Rebellion, I mean, it feels like there's been just

this huge step change in the political debate about climate change over the past, what is it,

two or three weeks. Starting with April the 15th, which was the day of the first protests,

Extinction Rebellion has been making headlines day after day and getting

a lot of reaction from politicians as well as businesses and the general public and we're now and

it just feels like journalists are suddenly handling climate change very differently so you'll hear

interviewers on the today program talking about something completely different and then just throwing in.

But what about climate change? And that would never have happened before.

Yeah, I was listening to Radio 4 this morning and three or four different environmental stories were covered in the space of about an hour and a half.
