Xiaomi recently reported receiving a huge amount of initial orders. And I'm trying to get to the bottom of this because I've

seen an enormous amount of orders in the first three minutes, the first hour and the first 18 hours.

But I'll go with what carnewschina.com reported. They're a very reliable source of car news out of,

you know, China, what with that being their website name.

Xiaomi reported receiving 289,000 orders in the first hour of its launch.

Within 18 hours, customers placed 240,000 confirmed orders.

So I'm trying to work out how they did 289 in the first hour and then 240 in the first 18 hours. I think the key there,

and I've been trying to get to the bottom of this for far too long, I need to stop and record,

is the word confirmed orders, either putting down a small amount of money or a larger amount

of money depending on how the or the Xiaomi order process is. I guess what we would call either a reservation or a

deposit or a full order. Fully booking the company's planned production until 2027. Now I told you about
