on a link in the show notes. So the Tesla Model Ys, which are flying around in the Robo Taxi fleet now,

are lightly modified and more is coming out as the weeks, days go by. Now at the end of the week

we can see a little black box that seems to have appeared on the rear wind screen and this seems

to be holding some 5G connectivity stuff. A recent photo shows the car streaming video from six cameras

into a giant kind of war room if you like. I suppose they'd call it a control

centre or something, where people sit down in front of the cameras, have a steering wheel in front of

them like a gaming machine or something, and can teleoperate the vehicles if they need to.

An insider claims the box holds cellular connectivity inside that. CATL wants to bring

battery swapping to Europe. They want their Chocco Seb packs to be swapped in 100 seconds.

That's really impressive. You can't refuel a vehicle in that time. They want to build 10,000 stations

in China first. In context, Neo has, what,

three and a half thousand battery swap stations in China, and they've been at it for years. So,

Europe's going to be harder as well for CATL. Xiaomi's YU7 just went on sale, and it got 200,000 orders in three minutes. Incredible. And it's cheaper

than a Tesla Model Y. It's bigger than a Tesla Model Y. Efficiency wise, well, one of the drivers

who was invited over was the editor of the electric website Fred Lambert, and he said that the efficiency on the

dash or the screen was 2.7 miles per kilowatt hour. This was a max-spec press vehicle, and that's

probably been driven pretty hard. 96 kilowatt hour or 101 kilowatt hour battery pack,

recharging as fast as 12 minutes, which is incredible, and with tons

of tech.

It's got massaging seats, they fold flats, you can sleep on them.
