Close your eyes and imagine a small candle burning just in front of you. The flame is steady, golden and calm.

As you breathe in, see the flame grow a little brighter.

And as you breathe out, watch as the light steadies and softens.

Let your thoughts be like the flicker of the flame,

rising, wavering, and then settling again.

With each prayer, allow your inner light to quiet and dim until only a soft ember remains, a glowing wick.

Peaceful, warm and ready for sleep.
