Amen. How we doing, church? We're good?

It looks great. If you got your Bible, I hope you do, grab them. We're going to go to Judges

Chapter 6 and 7, and we are going to talk about courage in the face of fear. Because imagine,

can you imagine if you were like the couple in that video and God called you to do something

that was exponentially

bigger than you. I mean, just for a second, and here's what I know. A bunch of you're afraid of

this. Like, you're okay with being a Christian enough to get into heaven, but you don't want to be

one of those crazy one that's like does what God says. You know what I'm saying, because you think

he might tell you to do something crazy. Well, guess what? You

are in the wrong place tonight. All right. It's going to get crazy because what if, can you

imagine? What if God called you to do something so far beyond yourself? Would you get a little

nervous? Would you get a little scared? Me too. And I don't have to imagine. I just got to remember.

I can tell you, you know what the number one fear in America is public speaking that's it number one fear

listed public speaking it's a greater fear than sharks it's a greater fear it's a

greater fear than death so that means that the next time you go to a funeral most

people would rather be the guy in the box than the guy talking that's you that's what that means that the next time you go to a funeral, most people would rather be the guy in the box than the guy talking.

That's what that means.

And I can remember the very first time I was ever called to preach.

I wasn't really called.

I was told.

I was standing in the back of the room.
