0:00.0	Amen, amen. How we doing? Church, doing good. Good. You look great. Grab your Bibles. We're going to be in Numbers Chapter 11. It's way towards the beginning of the Bible, and we'll be there for the next five weeks or so.
0:15.5	Pastor Stone did a great job kicking off this series last week called Greater Than. He did the whole book of
0:21.0	Leviticus in one setting. Isn't that incredible? I'm not as good as him. It takes me five
0:26.8	weeks to get through numbers. But here's what's crazy, awesome, is that we had over 60 people
0:31.9	surrendered their lives to the Lordship of Christ last weekend. And here's how we know that it's
0:36.9	God who saves and not the preacher. We were
0:38.9	studying Leviticus, you understand? And God saved all these people. So he did an awesome job. And
0:45.2	he told you a little bit, and Pastor Britt alluded to it also, that the reason we've called this
0:50.6	greater than is that we're looking at the reality between Leviticus and
0:54.8	numbers is that God is greater than our emotion, God is greater than our hearts, God is greater
0:59.4	than our feelings. And maybe you've heard the rumor that I don't care about your feelings.
1:03.7	It is true. I don't care about your feelings. Now, that doesn't mean that I don't care that you
1:07.5	have feelings. I know that you have feelings. I have some feelings, too. And I would rather you be happy. Happy is better than sad. That's not a Bible verse. It's just true.
1:15.3	All right? I'm pro. I hope you have good feelings. But feelings make a terrible God. They make a terrible God.
1:21.9	Now, God is giving you the gift of feelings and emotions so that you can navigate all the kind of things you have to deal with in life.
1:31.4	But feelings make a terrible God. And that's what I mean when I don't care about your feelings.
1:36.4	I want Jesus to be Lord of your life, not your emotions, because they're going to change every time the sun goes up and down. If you don't believe me, then look at the Bible. Jeremiah 179 says this.
1:43.3	The heart is deceitful.
1:45.7	Now, you think I'm talking about your roommate's heart.
1:48.0	It's something of your heart too.
1:49.5	That your heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick.
1:53.5	Who can understand it?
