0:48.7	whose work I have followed for a long time and really spoke to me especially when I first started hearing what she had to say.

1:00.3	Jennifer got her PhD at Boston College, and maybe if you could give us something on your dissertation.
1:10.0	Sure, I wrote my dissertation on LDS women and the, and basically how much sexual agency they had in the context of marriage, and that is to say like a sense of belonging to their own sexuality and their desires and feeling kind of a sense of freedom and happiness in their marriage.
1:29.0	So that's what I wrote on and I looked at women who had grown up in the church and were now married and just learned about their pre and post marital experiences.
1:39.0	So that was the subject and it was very interesting work.
1:43.0	Yeah, awesome.
1:45.0	Also, Jennifer is a sex therapist and coach.
1:49.0	She lives and works out of Chicago, but does a lot of remote sessions with people by Zoom.

We booked this interview with Jennifer a few months ago, but then we just happened to run into her one day in Utah a place we had no idea she would be at a violin or stringed instrument camp for where my stepson and her daughter were both attending so that was fun to run into her
