So tell me about the buy a house that pays you challenge.

So basically the way I got sorted in real estate was a little different than most people do.

I basically did it with my own house.

I kind of heard of it, a lot of different scenarios and circumstances.

But I live in New York.

New York is like many places in the country, very expensive.

I'm in Long Island.

And the idea of buying a rental or buying something that could cash flow or something like that just didn't ever pencil out for me.

You know, I studied a lot, watched a lot of YouTube, read a lot of books, stuff like that on trying to get into real estate investing. I always had a passion for it. You know, I was working a nine to five in New York City as an engineer, but just knew that that wasn't exactly what I wanted to do the rest of my life. And I got very interested on how people get rich and kept coming back to real estate. The problem was, is I looked at my parents

struggle financially, barely be able to afford their mortgage, and then Robert Kiyosaki's like,

go buy 10 houses. I'm like, I would need $10 million to buy 10 houses in New York. So I tried

a lot of different methods getting into the game and spoke to a couple people locally in the

market. And there was a lady that
