This week we're going back to Israel for two stories that Courtney Hazlett and Ellie Blyer reported.

First, we meet Benzion David, a Yemenite jeweler in Yafo who is keeping alive a very traditional

style of jewelry making.

Then we meet Rone Céfon and Professor Yaneva Soft, who are working together to study how

Jiu-Jitsu might help those suffering from PTSD.

But first, the jewelry.

Benzion Devit is the eighth generation artist from a family of jewelers

descending from Yemen. For more than 2,000 years since the days of King Solomon

his ancestors lived and worked successfully in Yemen, creating jewels for Jewish

brides, princes, and sheiks, until the family moved to Israel.

Executive producer Courtney Hazlett met him at his shop in the old city of Jaffa to talk about his craft. The only fitting place to start a story about an eighth generation jeweler is with the sign hanging in his workshop.
