This week, we want to let you know about two very Jewish movies to watch as you try to beat the end of summer heat.

First, Between the Temples, a comedy about a lost canter and the later in life bot mitzvah student that helped him heal.

Executive producer Courtney Hazlitt chatted with one of the film stars Robert Smygal and director

Nathan Silver.

Then, when she was recently at Israel, Courtney caught up with Swell Ariel Orr, who you might remember from Beauty Queen of Jerusalem.

Swell joins us with director Karen Nechmaad to talk about their new film Kiseufim, which was filmed in

2023 on Kibbutz Kiseufim before October 7th.

I want to talk about your new film, but before we get into I just want to ask a very simple

question like, how's it going

being Jews in the entertainment industry right now it's fine we're just doing our thing as

far as I know I don't know how Nate I just live in New Jersey and do my work and Nathan I don't know you're out there more I just work on

scripts and do press for this movie publicity for this movie so that's my life is a true in the industry. The three of us are the only

ones in this room who have seen the film. This will be airing the day before it hits

theater so can you give our audience a little spiel what can we expect in between the temples?
