Summary

On a day when Lleyton Hewitt’s glorious Wimbledon singles career came to an end, Novak Djokovic cruised into round two and Stan Wawrinka also advanced. Aside from Hewitt’s 11-9 fifth set defeat to Jarkko Nieminen, one of the stories of the day was the comeback of Liam Broady from two sets to love down. Jonathan Liew of the Telegraph joins Catherine Whitaker and David Law to talk it through and look ahead to day 2.  The Tennis Podcast is produced in association with the Telegraph and supported by BNP Paribas, the bank for a changing world. www.wearetennis.com
