My name is David Law and I'm joined today by my co-host Catherine Whitaker from Live at Wimbledon

and I'm also joined by the telegraphs.

Tennis correspondent, Mr Simon Briggs, ladies and gentlemen, how you doing?

Ladies first, very, very pleased to see ladies first. I'm doing very well thanks.

I'm a little bit wet because I was caught in an unforecast rain shower of which I hope there

won't be many for the rest of the week. But apart from that, I'm looking forward to the week.

Absolutely, we are here every single day of this fortnight here at Wimbledon and I am wet as well

because I've just walked into Wimbledon for the first time this week as well.

And Simon Briggs, you don't seem to have a drop of rain on you. So how have you managed to avoid the

rain? I've been locked in that restroom for at least a week. My brains are dribbling out through

my ears and if I'm not off during this podcast and you hear my head banging on the table,

it's not anything to do with your quality of chat. It's mainly that I'm absolutely knackered.

You haven't even started yet. Now, we're going to be looking every single day of this tournament

at the day's play that has gone and looking ahead to the order of play for the following day.

We're going to have talking points. We're going to have chat. We're probably going to have

arguments because Catherine Whittaker is here and anybody who normally listens to the

10th floor of the castor know that we rarely agree. But today, of course, it is the day before

Wimbledon starts. So we're going to be looking in depth at the draws. We're going to be coming up
