| 0:00.0 | Welcome to One Minute Scripter Study, a Come Follow Me podcast. |
| 0:05.0 | We are your host, Kristen Walker-Smith and Callie Black. |
| 0:09.5 | Hey, it's Callie Black here with today's thought. Let's open up to Exodus chapter 35 verse 5. |
| 0:15.3 | I wanted to keep working at this job, but I got a super strong prompting to quit, so I guess that's what I'm doing. |
| 0:22.9 | I found myself saying this repeatedly after an undeniable message from the spirit that I needed |
| 0:28.8 | to quit my job. I blamed the fact that I needed to quit my job on God. I had my own will, and I learned God's will, and I guess I would let his will |
| 0:43.1 | win. Then one day it clicked. God didn't want me to grudgingly follow this prompting, blaming him |
| 0:52.0 | for giving up what I wanted. he wanted me to do it willingly. |
| 0:57.2 | And so I started to pray for the desire to quit my job to align with God's will. |
| 1:04.5 | And guess what? The desire came. I felt so much more peace when I stopped giving in to God's will and started making our will |
| 1:14.5 | become one, even if I still wasn't sure why the prompting had come. God doesn't want us to come |
| 1:21.9 | dragging our feet and blaming everything on him. In fact, in Exodus chapter 35, verse 5, he says, |
| 1:29.1 | take ye from among you and offering unto the Lord, whosoever is of a willing heart. Let him bring it. |
| 1:39.3 | He wants us to come and sacrifice willingly. And I've learned that if I truly come to the altar of prayer |
| 1:47.7 | with a desire to have our will become the same, he will always help my heart get to the right place. |
| 1:57.8 | So the takeaway of the day in five words or less, willingly offer your desires. Thank you so much |
| 2:05.1 | for being here today and for coming closer to Christ with me one minute at a time. |
| 2:12.4 | Hey, are you ready to follow the children of Israel as they make their journey through the |
| 2:16.8 | wilderness, but then they also arrive in the land of Israel as they make their journey through the wilderness, but then they |
| 2:17.9 | also arrive in the land of Canaan and start to establish their land and there's kings and there's |
| 2:22.9 | judges and all sorts of drama. I would love to help walk you through all of this. My big picture, |
