0:28.3	that there is a new installment in the Exorcist franchise coming out later this year. I saw and did
0:35.5	a trailer reaction for it on my channel. It is chilling and it's 50 years later and Ellen Burston
0:41.7	is coming back to reprise her role from the first Exorcist film that we are obviously going to
0:48.1	be doing on this episode or did on this episode and reintroducing now and William Freakon just doing
0:54.7	a wonderful job directing that movie and turning the horror genre into something that could be
0:59.8	looked at for awards down the road with what he did with this movie. And then there was a special
1:06.4	addition. They came out years later that had that spider walk on the stairs that will forever resonate
1:11.8	with me and will never leave me. But it speaks volumes that he understood how to adapt that novel
1:17.4	Steve and turn it into something that people still have nightmares today of a certain age who
1:22.6	watched that movie. Well I know I tell the story when we when we did our review that I was so
1:27.4	terrified by the commercial when I was five-year-old that I had a hide behind the couch when the thing
1:32.5	came on. I mean this this this taps it so funny because you know I'm an atheist. You know that I'm
1:38.1	Jewish so that all the Catholic stuff is not what I grew up with. Yeah. Yet this is the shit that
1:42.8	freaks me out. Like demons and possession and all this stuff. I remember as a kid just being
1:48.8	terrified by the whole concept and the thing too and I think it connects a lot it connects to
1:54.0	the French connection which is that Friedkin in this era is totally unafraid to violate norms
2:03.4	and customs and he is gonna there are things that happen in the exercise with Linda Blair that are
2:09.9	so upsetting and disturbing and Friedkin just goes right at them. Yeah yeah and I mean it was the
