In light of recent changes to commission-sharing policies, which went into effect on August 17, 2024, we've been monitoring the confusion in the marketplace after the first whole weekend of sales activity. Agents fall into several categories so far: -Educated, motivated, and entirely in action, operating 'business as usual'. or -Confused, needing more direction and leadership, resulting in either in-action or proceeding incorrectly.  (This is the case with agents trying to force open house buyers to sign a Buyer Agency Contract before entering the home). Most agents are somewhere between confident and confused.
