I'm Lisa Lucera, Fox News, as Senate Democrats call for changes that include accountability

as the deadline for a partial government shutdown approaches.

With the deadline approaching for a government shutdown, Democrats are refusing to support

a portion of the bill that

funds the Department of Homeland Security.

This is not border security.

This is not law and order.

This is chaos.

Minority leader Chuck Schumer says Democrats have three demands to rain in ice, an end to roving

patrols, a uniform code of conduct, and

prohibiting mask wearing while requiring body cameras. Majority leader John Thune believes the best

path forward is to pass the six-bill minibus as is that funds DHS, the military, and a list

of other agencies to avoid a shutdown Friday.

Boxes Ryan Schmels in Washington, federal agents involved in the deadly shooting of Alex Prattie in Minneapolis have been placed on administrative leave.

Though calling it standard procedure, saying it should not be viewed as any suspicion of wrongdoing.

It's also being reported that Pratti was known to federal law enforcement,

that he suffered a broken rib in an altercation with ICE agents a week before he was killed.
