New information on a deadly shooting in Minneapolis.

Members of Congress told that two federal officers fired their guns during the incident

that killed Alex Preti over the weekend.

An official from Customs and Border Protection sent a note to Congress that two officers fired, one from

CBP and one from Border Patrol. Bystander video shot from several angles showed the confrontation

during which Alex Prattie was shot and killed. It was a deeper analysis by CBP's Office of Professional

Responsibility, which oversees policies and compliance,

that identified the two officers who fired by using footage from body-worn cameras and other

condition after being shot by Border Patrol after firing at a federal helicopter near the U.S.

Mexico border in Arizona. The FBI says CBP was trying to arrest the man when he began shooting

and agents returned fire.
