Welcome back to another episode folks, we're here finally. I am John Hancock and I am

JoJo Seabass and this is the read thanks for coming back. Thanks for coming back, girls.

What a week. Lots done pack. Let's start with our normal goingsons. We've got some black

ex-lens to give to you and this story I enjoyed reading. It goes out to a young woman by

the name of Aliyah Griffith and she became the first black student at UNC to get a graduate

marine sciences. It says here that she, Aliyah became interested in marine sciences like

many of us when she was around five years old and went to see world with her family.

Five years of seven, she saw a dolphin trainer and Baltimore at an aquarium approached him

and asked about their job title and was like, yeah, that's me, that's what I want to do.

Again, like many of us. However, unlike many of us for her it stuck. She actually followed

through her goals, set them, you know, persevered, worked hard, stayed dedicated, you know, the

things you need to succeed in life. So she went to Hampton University for undergraduate

majoring in marine sciences, obviously. And after graduating, she started pursuing her

graduates at UNC for the same thing. She started interning and working at a place called

Castillo Lab to focus on coral reefs and things like that. She also apparently wore her thesis

...
