Today, Dr. Berg talks about low carbs and lowering your serotonin levels. The cause of low serotonin levels is high insulin, and insulin resistance will not allow you to absorb proteins. Lowering your carbs will fix insulin resistance in which so that you can absorb more protein to build serotonin.
