And we're excited to talk to him about that.

Eddie, welcome.

Hey, it's so good to be with you.

Yeah, so Eddie, you've been literally following almost every second of this trial.

It seems like you just love courtroom drama.

I really do.

I'm like a big true crime junkie, like just I listen to all the big podcasts about it.

And pretty much all of the big ones I'll have listened to.

They're so fun and obviously just the courtroom ones that have political, national, political, and cultural ramifications are just always so fascinating, so intriguing, fun, fun.

And the controversy that surrounds them is fun.

I know that they're very serious and there are oftentimes lives on the line.

But the political ramifications just raise the stakes so much more and make them so much more interesting.

Yeah, and I remember right before you joined the Federalist, you had been following the Derek Chauvin trial very closely.

And we're in a similar sort of situation here where Chauvin was found guilty and was expected to be found guilty.

Rittenhouse, it's sort of the opposite.

I don't think anybody is expecting him to be found guilty on all of these counts.

In fact, I think if they are, it's maybe because they've been primed by terrible coverage from the legacy media to think that this is sort of a clear cut case of white supremacy.
