0:05.0	equip men to lead their family well. We've been about that for over six years, seven years now.
0:10.1	That's the heartbeat behind what we try to do, man. And even with all that, I've spent the last six,
0:14.6	seven years in my life, just focused on that and pouring into that. Even with that, I still
0:19.0	every day feel like I have no clue what I'm
0:20.9	really doing. But one of the things I've been trying to do is just like come back to the basics,
0:25.5	get back to the fundamentals. And so I've just been reading the Bible with my kids. I've talked
0:30.2	about that a lot over the last several weeks and months, like just one chapter a day with my kids,
0:34.7	with my older kids, I should say, 9, 12-year-olds, the younger ones,
0:38.0	I read them Jesus storybook Bible at night. But just trying to like get back to the basics,
0:42.8	man, just like read the Bible with my kids, let the Word of God transform them as we read it.
0:48.0	And then we think about it all day. We try to figure out how does this look like? What is the
0:52.7	application of the Word of God throughout our
0:54.5	lives and weeks? But the other thing I've been trying to do is also memorize Scripture. We've been
0:58.9	talking a lot about that with our kids recently is just getting the Word of God meditating on the
1:03.7	scripture day and night, like all the things that we let inside of our eyes and ears,
1:08.3	which is not pure and lovely and good and honorable and praiseworthy.
1:12.9	Like none of these things.
1:13.9	It's just we let so much garbage.
1:15.9	This is true for us as men.
1:17.5	It's true for our kids.
1:18.3	There's just so much stuff that goes into our eyes and ears on a weekly basis.
