We're coming up on 14 years of doing this show, 14 years of turning out an episode every single Monday. And I want to be

totally transparent and tell you that the reason that I started this is because I was scared to

death to maintain my weight loss after I had battled my weight, the majority of my life.

But now pushing into my 14th year of maintaining, what I can tell you is I have learned so much.

I have learned so much from coaching others. I've learned so much for continuing my own research.

And what I know is we have this very talkative mind that tends to really create a lot of stress

often the eating behaviors that we very much are fighting against. And over time, this went from

just being a, hey, let's count points and calories kind of show to a, hey, let's kind of manage

our mind show. Because what I realize realize is it doesn't matter how great

of a calorie counter you are or how great of a Weight Watchers points tracker you are or whatever

thing, carb counter. It doesn't matter if every time your mind tells you a story, you believe it
