Summary

In this module of the video course, we explore why we repeat the same relationship patterns — even when we know they’re not good for us — and how understanding your emotional wiring can shift everything. You’ll learn: Why familiar relationships feel magnetic (even when they hurt) How early belonging shapes adult attraction The difference between healthy excitement and chaos How to navigate triggers with someone instead of alone Why healing happens in relationship, not isolation How to rewire your patterns with compassion instead of shame This episode is a reminder that your patterns aren’t failures — they’re information. And once you understand them, you can create the relationships you’ve always deserved. Nobody knows exactly why there's not a single reason why we repeat. There's a couple of theories. One of them is that we repeat because it feels like home, right? And this is what's depicted in the media. And we've probably seen this where it's like, oh, yeah, I wake up and I'm like, well, that's exactly how I grew up. And so, of course, I repeat, you know, I did the same thing.

I think sometimes we also repeat to avoid. oh yeah, I wake up and I'm like, well, that's exactly how I grew up. And so, of course, I repeat, you know, I did the same thing.

So I don't know if you, what you believe about addiction, but if you have that in your blood or family treat, there's addiction, are you more susceptible to this repetition because you are impulsive or just, you know, all the behaviors from addiction?

1:59.0

Yeah, I think so. And I think it's probably, it's hard to pinpoint why.
