0:22.7	bringing back evidences from those futures for you to experience today,

0:34.1	a new species of synthetically engineered bees.
0:39.3	A book named pets as protein.
0:42.6	A machine that makes you rich by trading your genetic data.

0:52.0	So I don't actually travel to different futures yet. But my husband John and I
0:57.3	spend a lot of time thinking and creating visions of different futures in our studio. We are
1:03.1	constantly looking out for weak signals, those murmurs of future potential. Then we trace those
1:09.5	threads of potential out into the future, asking,
1:11.6	what might it feel like to live in this future? What might we see, hear, and even breathe?
1:18.6	Then, we run experiments, build prototypes, make objects, bringing aspects of these futures to life,
1:25.6	making them concrete and tangible,
1:28.3	so you can really feel the impact of those future possibilities here and now.
1:34.3	But this work is not about predictions.
1:38.3	It's about creating tools,
1:40.3	tools that can help connect our present and our future selves.
