All right, so we are going to talk about why the gold is in reviews, because pre-show, Neil and I were talking about the reviews we've been getting on our podcast, and we want to talk about how this could apply not just to the podcast, but B2B and B to C as well.

0:14.0

Think of it this way. You have a product that you sell or a service,

0:16.8

whether it's Amazon or whether it's G2 crowd,

0:19.7

literally there's reviews for all types of companies, all types of products, all types of service.

0:25.2

The reason Eric and I say the gold is in the reviews, most marketers look at reviews as

0:30.6

the more five-star reviews you get and if your average is four and a half or

0:34.9

above out of five typically you'll do well and the more of those reviews you

0:39.2

1:13.3

And the better product or service you have,

1:15.9

and you get that by getting feedback, the reviews,

1:18.1

the one stars, two stars, three and four stars give you that feedback.

1:21.2

You start fixing all that stuff. You'll see over time more word of mouth marketing and sales is driven

1:27.6

from hey my friend told me about this product or service yeah so this is

1:31.5

known as qualitative

1:33.0

feedback and when you're reading reviews, this is qualitative feedback, right?

1:37.6

So the quantitative piece might be the number of stars that you're getting and the average number

1:41.8

of stars, but what you're really looking for is you're getting and the average number of stars.

1:42.9

But what you're really looking for is you're looking for signal versus noise.
